Okay. Dan has forced me back on our blog. I just had to. For the past couple of months I've been "offline" in order to get other important things done. But, that has changed today. I had to get on and share with all of you that Dan received 2nd place in the annual photo contest for the Rendevous Dan shared about in the previous post! He wasn't even going to go to the presentation of pictures and awards as he wasn't expecting to win. So, this afternoon I announced I WAS going. I asked Dan for his cell just in case he did win. But, he decided to join me. I really like going as it is a great way to close out the Rendevous festival. All pictures submitted are put into a slide show for all to enjoy.
Dan actually won in the category "Best Human Interest" but the prize was the second biggest, that is why I said he got 2nd place. Congratulations, Dan! And, this is his winning photo:

Thanks, Paula! We are liking our town more and more the longer we live here! We THOROUGHLY enjoy the Rendevous festival. We feel like we're stepping back in time!
